Fripp Island is a 3000 acre barrier island off the South Carolina coast
located between Hilton Head and Charleston and is 20 miles from
historic Beaufort. Formerly home to intrepid explorers and
swashbuckling pirates, today Fripp attracts both travellers, who are
repeatedly drawn to the island for its uncommon beauty and
tranquility, and vacationers, who return year after year to enjoy the
resort.

uncrowded sandy beaches just waiting for your footprints in the sand.
Prefer the pool? You have seven to choose from. Perhaps you enjoy
tennis, kayaking, canoing, boating, fishing - there is always something
to do here. Or you can just 'soak up the sun' with a good book. You
will be awed by the natural beauty on Fripp Island. Deer roam freely,
sea turtles nest in the dunes, dolphin play in the rivers - and you may
even see an alligator basking on a sunny bank. The salt marshes on
the west side of the island are home to a variety of beautiful bird
species. It is so breathtaking that Hollywood took notice and filmed
two movies here: "Forrest Gump" and Disney’s “The Jungle Book”.

If golf is your passion, there are two world class golf courses to
choose from: Ocean Point, a true seaside links course designed by
George Cobb, consultant to Augusta National, and rated 4 STAR by
Golf Digest, or Ocean Creek, Davis Love III’s first signature course, on
the south end of the island. This course offers magnificent panoramic
views of the Great Salt Marsh and freshwater lakes. Golf magazine
named Ocean Creek “one of the top ten new courses you can play”,
and Golf Digest awarded it a 4.5 STAR rating.

From beach combing to water sports, the choice is yours. Each VIP
